About Us
Merlyn Frans spent years at the top of Dutch gastronomy, including at ’t Lansink — the Michelin-starred restaurant and boutique hotel in Hengelo.
There she catered weddings, parties and celebrations for the high-end segment, where every detail had to be perfect — from the first bite to the final toast.
With MAREA she brings that same refinement to the Costa del Sol: elegant Mediterranean food, personal attention and a relaxed atmosphere — at your villa or event venue.

MAREA provides catering in Marbella and across the Costa del Sol: walking bites, paella and BBQ at your venue, from a villa by the sea to a terrace in town. Everything is cooked on site by our own chef with Mediterranean, local produce.
What does catering in Marbella cost? We work with fixed prices per person — walking bites €42, paella €38 and BBQ €45, including chef, service staff, tableware and clean-up. So you know exactly where you stand, with no surprises afterwards.
